Game one of the NBA Playoffs left me with my usual analysis of the Miami Heat. Where was LeBron James in the fourth, or for that matter where was anyone else in the fourth? Where was Dwyane Wade the whole game? I know he is hurting, but this is the finals and he really needs to suck it up. Where was Bosh? Shane Battier and Mario Chalmers contributed plenty in the first half, but their second half performance just shows why you cant rely on those two. How about the coaching performance, it seems as though Erik Spoelstra was out coached again. Now for the Thunder, Durant and Westbrook both played like the superstars they are and carried the team. Serge Ibaka and James Harden didn’t do anything, but Nick Collison and Thabo Sefolosha made an impact in their absence. Coach Scott Brooks managed the game well and found ways to get Kevin Durant the ball throughout the game.
Now for my analysis on tonight’s game two: The Miami Heat go down 0-2 in the series. The Oklahoma City Crowd is going to be rocking, Kevin Durant will be draining his shots, and you will see more out of James Harden tonight. Westbrook will still have his impact as a point guard, but you will see similarities between Westbrook’s performance in game one with Harden’s game two tonight. For the Heat, LeBron will have around his usual 30 points 9 rebounds and 7 assists. That won’t prove to be enough, however, because Dwyane Wade will have another average performance in terms of his usual production. Chris Bosh comes off the bench and will get his share of points, but doesn’t make enough of an impact in the reserve role.
It’s going to be a close game where Durant and LeBron lead the way exchanging buckets all game. The difference here will be Harden in Game 2. My prediction is Oklahoma City wins 102-98.
Check out both of these parodies. These are both very popular songs, however, I think they are crap.
